Hair Styling
If you keep straining your hair by applying pressure through consistent hair styles then this may be one of the greatest contributors to hair loss. The continued stress upon hair follicles is known as traction alopecia and may be triggered by pigtails or cornrows.
Distinct hair styles can even result in scarring of the scalp and so changing around your hairstyle may be one of the best ways to help your hair growth recover. Perms, hot oil treatments or blow drying can further extend the damage.

What is MKMS24?

What is MKMS24?

September 17, 2020

MKMS24 is a natural molecule derived from lentils, thyme and bamboo. These ingredients directly stimulate hair growth by targeting the root. MKMS24 is an active ingredient that inhibits the production of an enzyme called 5α-Reductase (5alpha-Reductase). This enzyme prevents the synthesis of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which is one of the most common causes of alopecia. 5α-Reductase can reduce the circulation levels of DHT by up to 98%.

Pregnancy impacts Hormones and Hair Loss

Pregnancy impacts Hormones and Hair Loss

September 15, 2020

Both men and women typically lose around 50 to 100 hairs a day- this is part of the natural ‘hair follicle cycle’. Initially, the hair enters the anagen stage which leads to hair growth but then transitions into the exogen phase where hair actively sheds to allow for new growth. Alopecia (Pathological Hair Loss)

Alopecia (Pathological Hair Loss)

August 28, 2020

Alopecia, the pathological hair loss, refers to a hair loss problem that is due to various causes such as age, illness, lifestyle, medication, and hereditary factors. Hair experts can assess the cause based on the progression of hair loss and when it occurred. For example, sudden hair loss is usually attributed to an illness, medical treatments (such as chemotherapy), or a change in diet. Gradual hair loss is more of a hereditary problem and is part of the normal aging process. This type of Alopecia is one of the most common hair loss problems and occurs to both men and women.

Interview with Stefanie Seyda: Founder of Natucain

WHAT PERSONALLY INSPIRED YOU TO DEVELOP NATUCAIN?

I am a fan of active ingredient cosmetics. This is where medicine and biochemistry come together perfectly. Back in 2008, I worked on the first launch of an eyelash waxer and during this time I also learned a lot about the cosmetics market, especially the needs of customers. As a medical doctor, I know what makes hair grow and look beautiful and with this knowledge so many people can be happier and more beautiful.
